Marc Tyler Nobleman is the author of more than 70 books including Boys of Steel: The Creators of Superman, the first and still-only standalone biography on writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, the young men who dreamed up an icon during the Great Depression - right here in Cleveland. The book received multiple starred reviews, made the front page of USA Today, and was one of 75 out of an eligible 6,000 to be named an American Library Association Notable Book for 2009; the Cleveland Public Library nominated it for the Norman A. Sugarman Biography Award. Nobleman is also a cartoonist whose work has appeared in more than 100 international publications including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Barron's. He speaks regularly at conferences, schools, and other venues nationwide.
