Five Days for Democracy is an invitation for you to take just a little bit of time each day, for five days, to think about what democracy means to you. This year we're taking a look at how all politics is local: what does local government look like, who represents us, and how can we impact city hall.
Starting September 20th, you can join neighbors in tackling fun daily challenges to help learn more about government in your own backyard. We hope you’ll join us.
Special thanks to the YWCA Greater Cleveland. This project is a result of being inspired by the YWCA Cleveland’s 21 Day Racial Equity and Social Justice Challenge. Several of us participated in that project and appreciated its authenticity and power. That program grew out of inspiration from Food Solutions New England who presented the first 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge in 2014 based on an exercise from a book by Dr. Eddie Moore and Debby Irving. We are grateful to all these people and organizations for their inspiration.
