City Club Fridays at the Library
I am thrilled to announce that Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL) is partnering with The City Club of Cleveland to provide county residents the opportunity to watch live lunch screenings of City Club Friday Forums free of charge. Beginning January 29, 2016, CCPL will live stream every City Club Friday Forum on the wide screen in the spacious new auditorium of our Parma-Snow Branch located at 2121 Snow Road in Parma. There is no charge to attend, no need to pre-register, and all are welcome to watch, listen and participate in the conversation.
Through this partnership we seek to expand our civic dialogue and make City Club Friday Forums more easily accessible to those who are unable or prefer not to make the trip downtown for whatever reason. We are especially excited that our audience members will not only get to watch the Friday Forums for free, they will have the opportunity submit their questions live via Twitter. Isn’t technology grand? We invite everyone who lives or works in and around Parma to visit the Parma-Snow Branch on Friday afternoons and add their voices to the conversation.
By the way, we have invited the Wrap It Up food truck to the Parma-Snow Branch for our inaugural City Club Friday Forums screening of Whitney Johnson’s “Driving Corporate Innovation Through Personal Disruption” on January 29th at noon. So, if you are thinking about dropping in during your lunch hour, we’ve got you covered. (Not literally, of course. You will need to bring your wallet or purse if you plan on noshing.)
