City Club Launches Website Re-Design: Five New Ways to Engage
Today we are excited to announce the launch of the re-designed cityclub.org. This new website is cleaner and more modern – and should make it easier for you to view upcoming forums and purchase tickets.
Here are five new aspects of the website that you should check out today.
1. Create Your Account
In order to use all of the great new features, you’ll first need to create an account. If you are a City Club member, you will need that account to receive member pricing at checkout. Creating an account is easy. At the top of the home page, click on “Login” and under “Account Login,” select “Create an Account.” Complete the form and click “Create my Account.” After creating the account, you will need to login with your new credentials to get started.
2. Calendar View of Upcoming Forums
Hectic schedules can make it difficult to know if you’ll be able to attend a City Club forum. With our new monthly calendar view, it’s easy to see when forums are scheduled so you can determine which ones you can attend, have to view via the livestream, or catch later in our archives.
3. Choose Favorites
Interested in a forum, but not ready to purchase a ticket? Once you have selected an upcoming forum, you can click on the star icon to mark it as a favorite! Access your Favorites page by clicking on the star icon on top of the page.
4. Purchase Tickets to Multiple Forums at One Time
With more than 120 forums each year, purchasing tickets to each forum separately used up time that could’ve been spent reading up on free speech. Now, with our cart feature, you can purchase tickets to as many forums as you like with one single transaction!
5. Support the City Club
There are many different ways to support the City Club and we have created one easy way to see them all! By viewing our “Support the City Club” page, you can find ways to donate, sponsor a forum, become involved in student engagement, and/or become a Community Partner!
Explore the new cityclub.org and let us know which parts of the new website are your favorites! Of course, as with any update in technology, there are certain to be a few bugs. We ask that you help us out - if you run into something that doesn’t work or is confusing, please email us so we can fix it.
We are grateful to our generous funders who made this upgrade possible and to our partners at FORM who worked with us to bring the re-design to life.
We hope you’ll check out our upcoming forums and that we’ll see you soon at the City Club!
