Your Support Encourages Dialogue, Diversity, and Democracy
I want to be direct with you. I'm concerned about the state of our nation.
There’s a divisiveness to so much political conversation and there are fractures in so many communities. Common ground seems so rare.
But as the year comes to a close, I reflect on the words shown above on the Freedom of Speech mural we commissioned by local artist Christopher Darling: Dialogue, Diversity, Democracy.
While viewing this mural at Collinwood New Tech High School, it wasn’t just that I was reminded of the vital importance of these core values. Seeing the mural felt like visiting an old friend, a vision of our community that still lives but deeply needs our support.
I hope you'll consider supporting these important core values of dialogue, diversity, and democracy by making a contribution toward our 2018 Year End Giving Campaign.
Your tax-deductible donation to the City Club directly supports the quality forums you’ve come to expect from us and will ensure our legacy of free speech can continue in 2019 and beyond.
From all of us at the City Club, thank you for everything you do to help democracy thrive in our community. We are grateful for your commitment to help support our mission.
Warmest regards,
Dan Moulthrop
