Helping Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry Feed Cleveland
City Club's chefs are back in the kitchen! While we host virtual forums during this time of social distancing, our large catering kitchen sat idle until we learned Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry (LMM) needed help preparing meals for those in need.
Our friends at LMM receive product from the Greater Cleveland Food Bank that is then turned in to meals for the community. Over the past two weeks, Chef Adam Crawford and Sous Chef Neil Baron have been cooking and preparing the food for assembly and distribution to LMM's network. In the first two weeks alone, Chef Crawford and Chef Baron have prepped and cooked more than 2,000 pounds of meat and poultry.
"We are all in this together, so we have to help individuals when we can," said Chef Crawford who is delighted to be back in the kitchen.
