The City Club Announces New Board Member
The City Club is pleased to announce the addition of Michelle Najda to the City Club Board of Directors. A seasoned professional with more than 25 years of nonprofit development and management experience, Michelle joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2022, where she serves as Executive Director of the Ohio Market fundraising team for the Cleveland Clinic Philanthropy Institute. In this role, she offers strategic philanthropic consultation to individuals, families, corporations and foundations that aim to deepen their learning, giving and engagement with Cleveland Clinic.
Previously, she spent ten years at Cleveland Foundation helping donors identify and achieve their charitable giving interests and goals and nearly nine years at Case Western Reserve University, where she played an instrumental role on the leadership team that successfully launched the university’s $1.5 billion capital campaign.
“We really excited to welcome Michelle to our board,” said City Club CEO Dan Moulthrop. “We worked with her and her colleagues when she was at the Cleveland Foundation, and in her new role at the Cleveland Clinic, she will help bring the health care sector’s point of view to the work of our board.”
Najda was appointed to the board during the August 3rd, 2023 meeting of the board of directors.
“I’ve long been a fan of the City Club,” Najda said. “There’s no place in our community that brings people together across such a wide range of backgrounds to discuss so many different topics. It’s our community’s kitchen table and its megaphone and it’s a privilege to be able to support it.”
