The City Club of Cleveland is pleased to announce the election of Mark Ross as the new President of The City Club Board of Directors.
Mark Ross, a retired Cleveland Managing Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to northeast Ohio. In addition to the City Club, Mark currently serves on a number of local non-profit boards including Playhouse Square, College Now Greater Cleveland, Cleveland Clinic and Hospice of the Western Reserve, demonstrating his strong philanthropic investment in and passion for the Cleveland community. In addition, Mark serves as an Executive in Residence and Adjunct Professor at his alma mater, Miami University.
Mark Ross’s extensive background in leadership and his energy around civic engagement make him an ideal fit for guiding the City Club into its next chapter. His involvement with the City Club has been pivotal, particularly in the organization's strategic relocation to Playhouse Square.
Dan Moulthrop, CEO of the City Club, expressed his enthusiasm for Ross’s new role, stating, “Mark's leadership was critical to the City Club's move to Playhouse Square. He was the first to have the idea, and now he gets to help establish the City Club in its new neighborhood.”
Ross’s vision for the City Club includes expanding its reach and impact, fostering meaningful dialogues, and continuing to uphold the Club’s mission of creating conversations of consequence that help democracy thrive.
“I am honored to take on this role and look forward to working with the Board and the City Club community to build on our legacy of open dialogue and civic engagement. I believe the role of the City Club has never been as important as it is today and I am excited to take part in framing the conversation and leveraging our new platform at Playhouse Square!” said Ross.
