New Board Additions
(l to r) Paul Federico, Jeff Johnson, Ariane Kirkpatrick, Amy Martin
The board of the City Club recently made some significant additions to our ranks. Many have noted that back in July, Ideastream Public Media CEO Kevin Martin joined our board, as Mark Ross ascended to the role of the presidency. Kevin’s presence solidifies a long-standing partnership between the City Club and the state’s largest public media organization, and Mark’s leadership comes at a propitious time—with his familiarity with Playhouse Square and his experience as managing partner at PwC, his skill set is a perfect fit for this moment of growth and vision.
So, too, are the four new additions to the board.
Paul Federico brings decades of experience connecting companies across the region with opportunities to make a difference in the civic space. A veteran of the Greater Cleveland Growth Association and the Greater Cleveland Partnership, Paul has been a partner to City Club on a number of occasions over the years; he and his wife Lisa Mullin are also members of the Guardians of Free Speech Campaign Committee.
Jeff Johnson is managing director at Actum, a global consultancy focusing on communications, government relations, and strategic growth. Jeff is a Clevelan Heights High School alum whose work has frequently intersected with the City Club over the years. Jeff has also worked for the NAACP and BET.
Ariane Kirkpatrick is a multitalented entrepreneur, with a portfolio of companies across real estate, construction, and pharmaceuticals. She spoke about her journey at a City Club forum in 2022. Ariane is a lifelong Clevelander and a proud supporter of the City Club.
Amy Martin returns to the City Club board after spending a few years in New York as a business founder of a fitness tech startup where she is still part owner. She is the Chief Marketing Officer at TruWest Holdings in Westlake, where she oversees TRG, Inversion6, River SaaS Capital and other portfolio companies.
This is clearly a very exciting time for the City Club and we are thrilled to welcome them on board.
