The City Club of Cleveland Launches the America 250 Ohio Series
In 2026, the United States will celebrate its 250th anniversary of its founding. To mark this historic milestone, The City Club of Cleveland is partnering with the America 250–Ohio Commission to host a yearlong forum series highlighting Ohio’s role in shaping the nation’s history, identity, and future.
The America 250 Ohio Series will feature one forum each month throughout 2026, bringing together civic leaders, historians, policymakers, and community voices. These conversations will explore Ohio’s contributions to the American story over the past 250 years while encouraging dialogue about the values and civic engagement that will shape the country’s future.
“We are excited to partner with The City Club of Cleveland throughout 2026 to observe America’s 250th anniversary,” said Todd Kleismit, Executive Director of the America 250–Ohio Commission. “These monthly forums will create meaningful opportunities for Ohioans to reflect on our history, engage in civic dialogue, and celebrate the ideals that helped shape our country.”
