2026's Charles R. See Forum to Showcase LMM’s Culinary Training Program!
You’ve seen or heard of the popular TV shows Kitchen Takeover, Restaurant: Impossible, and Hell’s Kitchen. Well, on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, the team at Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry (LMM)’s Central Kitchen will be in the spotlight at The City Club of Cleveland as guest stars for the 2026 Charles R. See Forum!
For the first time, the culinary training program students and Metro 45 Café and Catering have the honor of catering the annual Charles R. See Forum. It is a distinction that they don’t take lightly.
“Mr. See was the first person who spoke to me when I walked in the door in 2016,” says LMM Executive Chef Scott Teaman. “He didn't know my name, but he shook my hand and said, ‘Chef, we’re glad you are here.’ Every time I saw him, he always had a smile or a quick anecdote for me. It’s time that he decides what he wants to eat. So, I am asking him what he wants and everyone else will enjoy! That will be another thing he will give to us.”
After attendees enjoy their lunch, they will be treated to a powerhouse panel moderated by Erika Anthony, Executive Director of Cleveland Votes. Joining Erika will be Dr. Jawanza K. Colvin, Pastor, Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, DeAnna Hoskins, President, JustLeadershipUSA, and The Honorable Jeffrey D. Johnson, Judge, Cleveland Municipal Court.
“Stronger Voices Together: How Justice-Impacted Individuals Are Shaping Our Communities" will explore what community and faith-based organizations are doing to center and elevate justice-impacted voices in shaping our communities. The panel will also discuss ways to support efforts that ensure the lived experiences and perspectives of those impacted by the criminal legal system can be heard in places of power and influence.
In this Midterm Election year, every vote matters. Join us on April 29th to learn how justice-impacted individuals in Cleveland and beyond are shaping the fabric of our communities.
