The City Club Welcomes Three New Board Members
The City Club of Cleveland is pleased to welcome three new members of their Board of Directors, who were voted in at the meeting on July 23, 2026. Read about the new board members below, and see a full list of our Board of Directors here.
Terry Coyne
Executive Vice Chairman at Newmark
Terry Coyne is an Executive Vice Chairman in the Cleveland office of commercial real estate services firm, Newmark. He is an established commercial real estate broker specializing in large, complex, industrial and investment properties in northern Ohio. While he relies on the latest data, trends and forecasts to inform his work, his passion is people. Terry values his strong professional network and serves as a reliable resource to clients and peers.
His commitment to the greater Cleveland area is evidenced in the variety of deals he has completed, as well as his civic engagement. Terry sits on the boards the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum, JumpStart Inc., Village Capital Corporation, Innovate Ohio, Flats Forward, and Seeds of Literacy. He is on the Real Estate Committee of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. He is a past board member or Magnificat High School, John D. Oil & Gas, and Energy West (EWST)
During his 25-plus-year career, Terry has successfully negotiated more than 2,000 transactions totaling over $5 billion in total consideration value.
Terry graduated from the University of Chicago, where he earned a Master’s Degree. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame and has additional credit hours from St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University.

Celina Cunanan
Chief Health Impact Officer at University Hospitals
Celina Cunanan, MSN, APRN-CNM, is Chief Health Impact Officer of University Hospitals (UH), where she champions strategies that build a healthcare environment where everyone feels supported and valued - whether a patient, caregiver or community member. She is leading UH to develop and grow thoughtful, innovative signature programs such as the UH Health Scholars youth pipeline program, the UH Second Look and Satcher Acting Internship programs for graduate medical education recruitment, the UH Food for Life Markets® to address food insecurity and UH LGBTQ/Gender Services to provide supportive and affirming care for patients.
An experienced clinician leader, Ms. Cunanan was UH’s inaugural Division Director for Nurse-Midwifery in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology from 2007 through June 2022, and System Chief for Nurse-Midwifery from 2017-2022. Under her leadership, UH Midwifery grew to be the largest network of midwives in Ohio.
Ms. Cunanan has a demonstrated commitment to addressing the inequalities impacting maternity care for Black women and babies. In response to Cleveland’s high preterm birth and infant mortality rates, she helped initiate the Centering Pregnancy model of care and served as Medical Director. She also co-founded Babies Need Boxes Ohio, which provided baby boxes, safe sleep education and supplies to expectant families.
She serves as Chair of the Ohio Commission on Minority Health after being re-appointed to her third term by Governor Mike DeWine in 2024 and serves on the executive board of First Year Cleveland.
In 2024, Ms. Cunanan was recognized by Modern Healthcare as a Top Diversity Leader and by Crain’s Cleveland Business as a Women of Note. She has also been recognized by the Cleveland Business Journal as a 2022 Woman of Influence and by Crain’s Cleveland Business as a 2022 Notable Executive in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Ms. Cunanan earned her BA from the University of Rochester, her BSN from St. Louis University, and her MSN in Nurse-Midwifery from Case Western Reserve University. She also earned leadership, coaching, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion certificates from Case Western Reserve University and Northwestern University.

Michelle Tomallo
Chief People Officer | Co-Founder of FIT Technologies
Michelle is a co-founder of FIT and has served in many roles during the company’s history—from client services, to account management, to operations. She currently focuses on human resources as Chief People Officer, and is a driving force of the culture and brand at FIT.
Outside of FIT, Michelle is on The Greater Cleveland Partnership board, and an advisor on their Equity + Inclusion committee. She also serves on the board of Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. Michelle is Board Emeritus of Plexus LGBTQ and Allied Chamber of Commerce where she served for over a decade as their Board President.
As an alum of Leadership Cleveland, she is active as a facilitator and committee member. Michelle also speaks locally and nationally on a variety of topics—from entrepreneurship to leadership, equity, and culture development.
Michelle is a self-proclaimed (un)official Ambassador of Cleveland, ready to highlight a reason this region is a great place to live and work, or to introduce connections within her network. She supports many nonprofits through events and fundraisers, and is active in a variety of civic initiatives throughout the year. In addition, Michelle enjoys cycling and running, cheering on our Cavs and Guardians, patronizing local restaurants, and organizing efforts at a community garden.
