Edible Cleveland publisher joining City Club team
The City Club of Cleveland is pleased to announce that Noelle Celeste, longtime consultant to area non-profits and publisher of Edible Cleveland, will be joining the organization as Director of Advancement. Ms. Celeste will start on July 1.
"Some of the most successful, innovative work we've done in the community, we've done with Noelle's help,"said City Club CEO Dan Moulthrop. "She brings a thoughtful and unique perspective to serving the community, and we couldn't be happier that she is joining the team."
A strategic consultant to a number of non-profits, Celeste has played key roles in City Club collaborations with the Cleveland International Film Festival and with the Cleveland Foundation.
"I've always admired the City Club's work, creating meaningful conversations to support the community, and this is a great opportunity to be a part of making that happen," said Ms. Celeste.
Ms. Celeste is a veteran of the civic engagement space and the world of fundraising. Prior to establishing her consultancy, she was most recently Corporate Relations Director for ideastream® and Marketing Director for the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). And, of course, legions of 90.3 WCPN listeners have been convinced by Celeste to call a certain phone number and pledge their support during on-air fundraisers for many years.
In her new role, Ms. Celeste will manage all fundraising efforts for the City Club, including membership, event sponsorships, and endowment growth.
Fans of Edible Cleveland will be pleased to learn that the publication will continue to bring the stories of Northeast Ohio’s local food to readers every quarter. Ms. Celeste will remain Publisher of Edible Cleveland and the magazine expects to announce additions to its management team soon.
