TransAfrica is a Washington-based Black American lobby whose purpose is to organize popular support in the United States for policies and practices that will help achieve a more progressive foreign policy toward Africa and the Caribbean. According to Jet Magazine, Robinson has been an outspoken critic of America's South African policies.
A native of Richmond, Virginia, Robinson graduated from Virginia Union University and Harvad Law School.
