The Honorable Sandra Day O'Connor is an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. She was nominated to the court by President Ronald Reagan, and took her oath of office on September 25, 1981.
She was an unwavering voice of moderate conservatism and the first woman to serve on the nation’s highest court.
She addresses the City Club on the workings of the U.S. Supreme Court.
