"Catalysts for transforming schools can vary. But trust matters. Impatience can ruin transformation." – David Kirp

David Kirp and City Club CEO Dan Moulthrop discuss the findings in Kirp's latest book, 'Improbable Scholars: The Rebirth of a Great American School System and a Strategy for America's Schools.' Kirp talks about the fact that true change for school systems must start at the base level, building trust between those affecting change and the community. Kirp also says that while technology has its place in modern education, true change happens in people and behavior.
