Thomas F. Farrell II has been chairman, president and chief executive officer of Dominion since April 2007. He served as president and chief executive officer of Dominion from January 2006 to April 2007, and served in various executive positions prior to that. Farrell is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Virginia Electric and Power Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dominion, and was chairman, president and chief executive officer of CNG, a former wholly-owned subsidiary of Dominion. He is a director of Altria Group, Inc. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Virginia.
