Where the State Budget Is Headed

The two-year state budget proposal is working its way through the Ohio legislature. Governor Kasich’s budget was announced in early February, the Ohio House passed its version in late April, and the Ohio Senate is now working on its proposal. By law, the budget must be approved by the end of June.
