Every two minutes, a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer. Susan G. Komen is the world's largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit while providing real-time help to those facing the disease. The Northeast Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen is the local expert in breast health education, screening, diagnostic, treatment, and support programs serving the low-income, uninsured, and underinsured living in Northeast Ohio.

With this in mind, Komen Northeast Ohio is honored to share the results of their most recent community health needs assessment, the 2015 Community Profile, with community members, healthcare partners, and business and government leaders. The 2015 Community Profile identifies the areas and populations of highest need in Northeast Ohio, outlines existing resources and gaps in the continuum of care, and describes the primary barriers to care facing target communities. Additionally, Komen Northeast Ohio will announce their strategic plan to address the existing gaps in care in Northeast Ohio. Komen Northeast Ohio is committed to increasing access to care and reducing disparities in breast health outcomes for the most vulnerable populations in Northeast Ohio.

Please join Komen Northeast Ohio to learn how to get involved in the fight against the disease and improve the health of Northeast Ohio residents.

This is a free event.
