"Grades are important, but the narrative is important. We look at the curve." – Brent Shelley

How do you know where to apply to college? When to visit? Who to talk to? College admissions have dramatically changed in the past generation - over a quarter of students now apply to seven schools or more, and by 2020 there are expected to be 23 million college students in the United States. This means that schools are increasingly looking for students who not only have good grades and extracurriculars, but have demonstrated leadership and commitment to those clubs. How do you set yourself apart from the other 3 million plus graduates? Hear from students and admissions counselors about how to make sense of the college application process.

Panelists include:

Lee Friedman, CEO, College Now Greater Cleveland

Josh Levy, Associate Dean of Admissions, Oberlin College

Brent Shelley, Executive Team, Minds Matter Cleveland
