"Our objective is to develop narratives of peace and give Muslims tools to combat extremists." – Daisy Khan

Recent terrorist attacks in Paris, France; Aden, Yemen; San Bernardino, California, and at least seven other cities have been linked to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), fueling worldwide terror alerts and fear. After the attacks in California, presidential candidate Donald Trump called for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. Recent polls indicate a segment of Americans support such a ban, illustrating the continued association between Islam and terrorism.

Join us for a conversation with Daisy Khan, Founder and Executive Director of the Women's Islamic Initiative in Spirituality and Equality (WISE), on the truths of Islam, the origin of ISIS, and how to fight extremist views held by terrorist groups.
