"We really have to recognize the two state solution is dead." – Pete Moore, Ph.D.

In the last five years, the Middle East has experienced the "Arab Spring" revolutions and counter-revolutions, civil wars in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen, ISIS's conquests and terrorism, Russian intervention and American decline, the nuclear deal with Iran, and lack of progress in Palestinian-Israeli relations. What can be done to stabilize the region and create favorable conditions for multiple conflict resolution processes?

Join us, the Cleveland Council on World Affairs, International Partners in Mission, and the Northeast Ohio Consortium for Middle Eastern Studies (NOCMES) for a conversation with Karl Kaltenthaler, Ph.D., Professor and Fellow at the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics at The University of Akron, and Pete Moore, Ph.D., M.A. Hanna Professor of Political Science at Case Western Reserve University, moderated by WCPN host/producer Tony Ganzer.
