On November 8, 2016, the Very Rev. Tracey Lind was diagnosed with early stage frontotemporal dementia, a form of early-onset dementia that affects communication and language, memory and mobility. On January 29, 2017, she delivered her last sermon at Trinity Cathedral, where she served as Dean for the past 17 years.
This diagnosis hasn’t stopped her from fully immersing in what life has to offer -- and what she has to give. From October to December last year, she was invited to speak at seven European churches in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
Join us as the Very Rev. Tracey Lind shares her journey as a "torchbearer who curses the darkness of dementia and lights the path of grace-filled living with this disease."
