There's roughly a billion dollars in federal aid coming to governments in Cuyahoga County as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The funds are supposed to be used to respond to the COVID emergency and its negative impacts. This is a once-in-a-lifetime cash infusion for many communities, and many have pointed out this creates an opportunity to address long-standing, and long-deferred, problems in our communities.
So how do you spend a billion dollars wisely and equitably? Join us for a live, in-person, conversation on Public Square about the post-pandemic plan and priorities to rebuild our communities.
The livestream will be available on our Facebook page beginning at 12:00 p.m. Have questions? Tweet them at @TheCityClub or send a text to 330.541.5794.
