Baiju Shah took over the leadership role at the Greater Cleveland Partnership in the spring of 2021. He's just the second person to helm the organization since it was founded in 2004, to bring together a half dozen other organizations under one banner as the region's chamber of commerce. At the end of 2021, Shah offered up a vision of the GCP's work and the region's future in a guest essay for Cleveland.com. Lamenting the lost momentum from 2016, Shah wrote, "We now have an extraordinary chance to regain our momentum and our standing. And that is beginning to happen. Through the concerted work of many, our civic system is restoring and aligning again."
Join us to hear from the new CEO of the Greater Cleveland Partnership on exactly how the region can regain its momentum, address longstanding issues of persistent poverty, inequity, and unequal access to economic opportunity, and, importantly, what the GCP is going to make it happen.
