Happy Dog Takes on the Ukraine Crisis

The news from Ukraine is changing by the hour, but some parts of the story are unchanging: a fledgling European democracy is finding its sovereignty threatened by a hostile neighbor led by an autocrat. As the conflict with Russia continues, facts are in as much dispute as the border itself, and the exact nature of the aggression and the response is hard to see. Harder to see are the stakes for the United States and its commitment to supporting democracies around the globe.

As part of our series of informal forums at the Happy Dog, we'll be joined by a group of Ukrainian Americans with deep ties to Ukraine and its capital Kyiv. We'll talk about what's actually happening, the ways disinformation is being deployed, and the stakes for the global economy and the international commitment to rule of law.
