This City Club forum will take place at the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival. There will be a screening of the documentary Common Grounds? (30 minutes), followed by a panel discussion moderated by the City Club's Director of Programming Cynthia Connolly.
Common Grounds? Film Synopsis: In an age of hyperpolarization, the University of Virginia examines the political climate on a college campus. Through interviews with students from across the political spectrum, the film asks a simple question: ''Can tomorrow's generation find common ground?''
Join the City Club for a panel discussion on civil, political discourse. Does it even exist in today's divisive times? And can we move past other differences – such as race, religion, economic background, education level - to have meaningful conversations?
Tickets must be purchased through the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival website here. Your ticket includes the film screening and the panel conversation.
