Developing Downtown Cleveland as Our Neighborhood

A recent report released by Downtown Cleveland Alliance and Greater Cleveland Partnership examined downtown residential growth and revealed significant population increases in the area. For example, the downtown core experienced robust growth of households from 2010 to 2020--a 36.0% increase compared to a 4.4% increase for the City of Cleveland, making it one of the city's largest and fastest growing neighborhoods. And as our downtown population grows, so too, does the demand for diverse housing, jobs, retail, entertainment, and other amenities.

Our downtown has the potential to serve a large and diverse population of people from Northeast Ohio and beyond. Join us in Public Square as we learn how Cleveland's downtown will continue to grow and welcome visitors, residents, students, businesses, and the greater community.
