Dr. Warren G. Morgan will deliver his annual State of the Schools address at a pivotal time for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The district is looking to improve on strong academic gains from last year, while also addressing the enrollment declines of recent decades and expanding opportunities for better student experiences across all schools.

A free virtual livestream of the event will begin at 12:00pm at cityclub.org. No registration is required for livestream viewers.

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased via the City Club website.

What time do doors open?
Doors open at 11:15am.
The program begins at noon.

How will I know my question is selected?
If your question is selected, City Club staff will be in touch via the phone number and/or email provided.

I'm a CMSD teacher/principal, can my students attend?

I'd like to sponsor a table for CMSD students to attend. How can I do that?

Are there services available for hearing-impaired and special seating for physically disabled?
There will be an ASL interpreter and designated seating near the interpreter. There is also wheelchair accessibility and seating for those using wheelchairs.

Is there a bag policy?
Be sure to allow extra time for security screening and limit your number of personal items. Backpacks and other large bags/totes are not permitted; please leave these items in your car or at home.

Is there parking at the event? How do I get there?

Where is the Grand Ballroom? Which doors should I use to enter?
The Grand Ballroom B/C is inside the Huntington Convention Center. Enter the main doors located on Lakeside Avenue.

Will there be food?
A plated lunch will be served.

Will the livestream be available?
The 2025 State of the Schools will be available on the City Club website live during the forum starting at 12pm, and available in our archives after the forum.
