"Reach & Teach": Our goal is to travel to urban and local gardens and "Reach" the community to "Teach" families, seniors, and children how to preserve the food they grow in their own spaces and gardens. Every summer since 2016, the City Club has packed up our gong and taken over some of our favorite outdoor public spaces. This year, we are taking over the Playhouse Square Plaza and marking our nation's semiquincentennial - or 250th birthday - with the theme WE THE PEOPLE. The series will dive into topics centering our communities, organizations, and the very people who help our democracy thrive.

To kick off the series, the City Club will host an "Open Mic Forum"—a chance for YOU to share an idea or discuss a topic that is important to you!

Each open mic participant will have five minutes for remarks, which, per City Club tradition, will be followed by a question from the audience for the speaker to address.

This forum is FREE and open to the public, but registration is recommended! It helps us prepare enough seating and keeps you informed of any program changes!
