Join Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne for the 2026 State of the County address at the Mimi Ohio Theatre in Playhouse Square. The Executive will deliver remarks, as well as sit down in conversation with Randell McShephard, VP of Public Affairs & Chief Talent Officer at RPM, to share key accomplishments, reflect on the progress made together, and outline his vision and priorities for the upcoming year.
Immediately following the forum, join us outside in the Playhouse Square Plaza for a reception featuring live music, light refreshments by Something Good Social Kitchen, and a cash bar until 6:00pm.

What time do doors open?
Doors open at 3:00pm.
We recommend taking your seat by 3:50pm.
The program begins promptly at 4:00pm.

The 2026 State of the County is a ticketed event, and tickets are required to enter. Tickets can be purchased directly through the Playhouse Square website https://www.playhousesquare.org/events

Is there parking at the event?

Is there a bag policy?
Be sure to allow extra time for security screening and limit your number of personal items. Backpacks and other large bags/totes are not permitted; please leave these items in your car or at home.

Will there be food?
This is not a luncheon event. However, there will be an outdoor reception in the Playhouse Square Plaza with light refreshments, live music, and cash bar immediately following the forum until 6:00pm.
Will the livestream be available?
The 2026 State of the County will be available on the City Club website live during the forum and available as video or audio for free after the forum. No registration is required.
