The Future of Energy in Ohio

It's not your imagination, and it's not hype. Your energy bill is up. A lot. According to analysis by Signal Ohio, electric bills are up an average of 12% over last year and they've risen 62% over the last decade. And with growth expected in data centers and manufacturing, supply pressure is expected to continue, increasing upward pressure on prices. Utility providers say there's just not enough energy being produced. At the same time, the composition of our state's energy production is changing. Reliance on coal is declining nationally, while natural gas, nuclear energy, and other more sustainable options such as solar and wind are taking hold.

So what is the future of energy in Ohio and the region?

Join us for a conversation about Ohio's current and future energy needs. We will hear from energy producers and distributors, and industries whose growth depends on access to energy.
