The City Club of Cleveland's Youth Forum Council (YFC) brings together high school students from across Northeast Ohio to plan youth-centered conversations and public events at The City Club of Cleveland.
Each year, the Youth Forum Council brings together high school students from across Northeast Ohio to plan and lead free, youth-centered civic conversations. Students collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds, engage with local leaders, and explore real-world issues that impact their communities.
Through this experience, they develop leadership skills, deepen their understanding of free speech, and discover ways to take action in public life.
Applications for the 2026 - 2027 school year are now open. Students may apply to serve as either a:
General Member
Ambassador
More information about each role will be shared after your application is submitted.
To ensure a range of voices, no more than 7 students per school may serve on the council at a time.

Interviews are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month via Zoom at 6:30 PM. A calendar hold will be sent in advance with the Zoom link, and an email reminder within 24 hours of the interview.
General Meetings for the 2026 - 2027 school year are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM, unless otherwise noted:
August 17th - Back To School Kickoff (In Person)
September 16th- In Person
October 14th- Virtual
November 11th- In Person
December 9th- Mid-Year Reflections
