Established in 1947, the Cleveland Association of Phi Beta Kappa seeks to support the ideals of society through academic, social, and community-based programs. The Cleveland Association draws its membership from more than 3,700 residents of the Greater Cleveland area who were inducted to the Phi Beta Kappa society as undergraduate students. The Cleveland Association is one of over 50 similar Phi Beta Kappa associations across the country comprised of local Phi Beta Kappa members.
The Cleveland Association offers one of Northeast Ohio’s most prestigious academic scholarships, seeking to reward students who demonstrate academic honesty, go beyond assignments and requirements, and have great extracurricular involvement in their community at large.
Cleveland’s Phi Beta Kappa continues to be lauded for its many civic contributions and efforts.
