Since its founding in 1912, the City Club has been bringing together communities to have important dialogue and work through tough issues. And along the way, we’ve learned a thing or two about planning and executing great events. That’s why, in addition to the 130 forums we present, we also host more than 180 private events and meetings each year for businesses, nonprofit partners, and individuals from the community.
Our catering and event team has years of experience in making sure every detail of your event is exactly as you envision. Professional event coordinators and in-house audio visual services are available to make planning for your event incredibly simple.

What kind of events can we host at the City Club?
We host everything from small casual breakfasts and business lunches, to elegant gala dinners and wedding receptions.
Are there any other rooms available besides the room where you host forums?
Our facility includes five flexible event spaces that can accommodate groups of 2 to 250 people, and all of them can be set up exactly to your needs.
Do I have to be a member to host an event at the City Club?
Absolutely not! While members receive a discount on catering services, our facility is available to rent by the public.
Can you customize your menu?
Of course! If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for on our menu, our Executive Chef is happy to work with you to create a menu that exceeds your expectations while staying in your budget.
The best part? Hosting your event at the City Club is a great way to financially support our organization’s mission to create conversations of consequence that help democracy thrive. As a nonprofit organization serving our community, maintaining a healthy mix of earned and contributed income is how we keep our ticket costs affordable and continue to offer up to 30% of our programs free each year.
