As the United States Senate and House of Representatives have passed competing versions of immigration reform bills, battle lines are being drawn. The debate that has been raised has been centered on two main issues: first, whether it is moral to reward immigrants who have entered this country illegally by granting them amnesty and second, whether immigration itself economically benefits this country.
