Serving Ohio’s 12th District since 2000, former Representative Pat Tiberi officially announced his resignation from Congress in October 2017. However, he isn’t stepping away from promoting policy—Tiberi is now leading the Ohio Business Roundtable as President and CEO.
The Ohio Business Roundtable was created in 1992 with the goal of improving Ohio’s business climate and, ultimately, its influence on the economy nationally. During his time in Congress, Tiberi was a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee, as well as the Subcommittee on Tax Policy. As the former Chairman of the Subcommittee on Trade, he helped lead the effort to pass Trade Promotion Authority, a process detailing how Congress considers trade agreements. Tiberi ended his final term in office as Chairman of the Joint Economic Committee.
